Fenrick's Lament

Very old piece... dates back to high school. Coloured more recently in Photoshop.

Based on an old RPG character, a Gnome engineer and toymaker who had his soul magically fused to a steam-and-clockwork war machine by means of a blood rune. Rather presciently similar to both the Iron Giant and Al from Full Metal Alchemist... hmmm. Weird.

Note Fenrick's tiny Santa hat on his head. The war machine actually transforms into a preposterous vehicle resembling a WWI tank. There's a picture of that kicking around somewhere... maybe I should post it too.
